Neil Young

So I am on a trip to Southeast Asia and planned to stop in Vietnam.  I did some research on the Vietnam war and have always been a fan of that era of music in the 60’s and 70’s.  This led me to Neil Young.  I’ve been obsessed with the song Harvest Moon for a while and have even seen Neil twice at his Bridge School Benefit concerts he used to put on, but really didn’t dive into his music.  I’ve known he is a poet as well as a musician, but his simple melodies and lyrics are such beautiful little stories.  This is the type of music I most connect with.  The raw and simple, yet perfect, melodies with the right mix of words and harmonies.
