I was first introduced to Glennon Doyle via Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday Podcast. She told part of her story, basically a part of this book, which I really related to. Glennon suffered from bulimia and is a recovering alcoholic. Although I am neither of those, I have struggled with weight and body issues my entire life, and have alcoholism pretty strong in my family and personal life.
I read this book in one day. It was painfully raw and honest. It was extremely inspiring and human. Glennon Doyle truly is a warrior of love as well as many other things. She has endured things that many others would simply run away from and crumble, but she didn’t. She fought, like a warrior and has inspired me to do the same!
